Essentially Ellington High School Jazz Band Festival
Ensemble 1 will be participating in the Essentially Ellington Festival 2023.

Ensemble 2 will be participating in the Reno Jazz Festival 2023.

Clark College Jazz Festival
Students need to be at GHS by 10 AM – return to GHS estimated to be 12:00 – 12:30 AM. Students need money to get lunch in Olympia and a fast food dinner. They could also bring food from home. Chaperones will make sure everyone can get food throughout the day.
Possession Sound Jazz Festival
Call Time for Students
11:00 AM (both Jazz 1 & 2) – families can drop off student or attend the festival to watch bands

THERE IS NO ARRANGED TRANSPORT to this event, but ride-shares may be available, if your student needs a ride, or if you are driving and can offer rides, please send a note to president@garfieldjazz.org.
Earshot Jazz Performance
Ensemble 1 will be performing at Earshot Jazz Festival at Town Hall.
Garfield Centennial Celebration
Jazz Ensemble 1 will be performing at the Garfield High School Centennial Celebrations.

About Garfield High School Centennial: Garfield High School will be celebrating its Centennial on Saturday, August 27, 2022. Quincy Jones is our honorary chairman for the event. The celebration will showcase a variety of activities that reflect the history of GHS through videos, pictorial displays and entertainment by alumni and students and much more.
